Small Update and some Luv!

at first: You are awesome! Thanks for all support, ideas, criticism etc.. <3
just a short update from our side…
1.) Hey guys, please do us a favor if you are able to: spread the word and tell everybody you know about GrooveDown! Share our Facebook Page and help us getting more popular! ( Share on Facebook )
2.) We are looking for people who would like to help us doing some stuff. We need one or two persons who are able to speak at least english ( a combination englisch/french, englisch/spanish , englisch/whatever would be super cool! ) who would like to help us moderating the support forum and also help us out with some other stuff. So we can work on the actual client and dont need to spend that much time on support forums etc. So if you like to be part of the team just write a short mail about who you are and why you want to help to info@groovedown.me . Thanks in advance!
3.) We faced some uptime issues with our server in the past. That issue is resolved now and at the momtn we are moving to a new server to guarantee stability on the server side.
4.) We are continiously developing Groovedown ( and there will be a new version soon ). We are thinking about making GrooveDown OpenSource and allow you to help us continuing the development and bring on own ideas, optimize etc…
5.) Just giving a small preview on what we are working when it comes to GraphicalUserInterface ( so the actual idea behind the Design):
New GUI looks awesome. Can’t wait to get it.
I really like that GUI! Looks great. Since it is frowned upon (the “stealing” part) I do tell some friends, but not everyone. Do we have a release date/beta release date for this GrooveDown? Oh yeah, and I like the idea of it being open source, but wouldn’t that help Grooveshark release blocks for GrooveDown?
I encourage all my friends to use this program. I fix computer and install it on many of them that use old Limewire or other programs. This isn’t “stealing”.
Making it open source won’t help Grooveshark block Groovedown.
And I would also like an ETA or maybe a beta release of the new version.

No need of the top bar (File Tools…) imho.
Would be even better, if the tab bar would be integrated in the widow-title-bar, like browsers do (if it’s still Java – forget it^^)
I Love It! looks fantastic, i’ve told most of my music lover friends about GrooveDown, but i wish you guys developed a real mac compatible version
because i just transfered to mac and i know many users would like to have it in their macs too
The .70 version is hard to tell if you highlighted a song, added a “+” or it’s in the queue.

OMG i love how this program works, i dont like the interface, but i cant wait for the next stable version with that new fancy interface. Im making my friends use it!! keep it up!
great job , guys i’m waiting for your big release that allows us to sign in and download our library that would be great , keep up the good work, and plz make it that way to allow sign in with facebook account

Good idea to make things open source. This’ll lead to a native Linux/Mac OS client!
well I love it… when I install this in my pc I got a problem… really two problems, first i can’t search anything, but I downloaded a fix, second the icon is too bad, small, and I made a new version on 256×256 size, to see it bigger in the desktop… well I already upload the new files…

hi groovedown team,
i just got the mac version (java).
and i have the same problem than with the previous version.
i launch groovedown, the window appears, then flies to the dock, and when i put back the window, the window freeze (i think it freeze when the software is launch).
anyway i have to close, relaunch, but nothing better, freeze again.

Fantastic program! Could we please get a bitrate field in the search results? Right now I have to download three copies of a song and see which is highest.
Hey what is with a intern search funktion -> search in the search-result list, cause i don’t wanna loose the list but want so search insite the results.. & it’s lagging when i start a download & wanna search for more to add
Hey! I wanted to come here and say that you guys are doing a GREAT job, grooveshark is AWESOME and is something really I admire.
Today I found groovedown and was amazed by how simply it works and that I could suggest a few things if possible
.
If it could be possible to log in from your grooveshark account and set up the music you have there to download instead of making a playlist and putting it in that playlist then waiting a few minutes (I dont know exact time, Im still waiting) for it to update so that you can download that playlist.
ALL in ALL I’m really satisfied with your work, keep it up!

problem with the search function, popular list not showing up either.
I was in the United States 15 days ago and your software worked flawlessly,
However i flew to Israel and your software is not giving any results, nor showing up the popular list, and i am on the latest version.
Can you please fix this since I am able to use grooveshark’s website all the time.
